Security and Surveillance

Identifying and tracking suspicious activity

Security systems can use image annotation to detect suspicious activities. We use Bound boxing to differentiate people from objects. This can help alert authorities when people are detected in areas of concern. Suspicious items that are left unattended in the area are also flagged by the system.

Objects and people can be tracked through the security system by using image annotation. If an item is found to be suspicious it is flagged and alerts are sent to the person of concern. If people are detected in unwanted areas or in a place for a suspiciously long time, the footage can be flagged.

Wider area of surveillance

To allow coverage of a wider area semantic segmentation can be used. It divides the entire area into smaller parts in the video. This allows the surveillance of different sections easily. Different areas can also be marked differently. For example, one area may be restricted for people while the other is not. In such a way, a large area can be tracked for the security of the people.
